I use WCPS to display product categories in my shop. I have made a custom template to show the Category name and thumbnail. It is working just fine but unfortunately the original image size for the category image gets loaded every time causing a very heavy load on my page. I have edited the layout and changed the thumbnail size setting for the Term thumbnail to load a smaller size image. It seems like this setting does not work!? Is this a bug or is there anything else I should change?

I have now regenerated thumbnails according to your instructions but the problem remains. If you inspect the code generated by the plugin it is obvious that the smaller version of the image is not requested if one tries to show a “term thumbnail”. In a layout showing a regular product slider everything works just fine. If I set the size to “Medium” the image having a name appended with -300×300 is requested. This is not the case for the term thumbnail in a Category slider. Can you come up with a solution?
