Previous theme is not available/does not work

I have previously set one of the sliders in a certain theme, flat theme if I am not mistaken, this theme has a hover style when I drag the mouse over the thumbnail, it will disappear and the product and the price title will appear. You have clearly indicated this style of theme is available in the layout section (as the overview show this work like I want to be)..then I chose that layout, it does not like what imagine, instead, the thumbnail, price and the title just appear without hover applied. Please can you help me with this issue
