Custom Queries per Author (seller in Multi Vendor)

I want to show Recent/Top Selling/Popular/Like This Product/Ext ... for each vendor ... as well as top level "newest Sellers / Popular Sellers" ... how is this best handled? Would be a filter? or another way to custom query? ..I'd like to keep as shortcode to use with visual composer all over the site.. thanks for any insight and feedback you can provide.
