I have created a custom post type called "Knowledge Base" and added categories. However, when I select the option, the post categories are not showing.

In order to display the category name for a custom post type, you need to select our 'post term' breadcrumb element. You can refer to the screenshot here: https://ibb.co/88t9Xwh
