I am formating a slider, which works except the new image sliding in is not pre-loading. This means that when the image slides into the slider, the area for the image is first empty...and when in position it fills... Is this the way it should work?

Sorry, but whatever I try…optimized the images (they were not that bad though), let the slider roll really slow…that image just doesn't preload before!
I didn't completely understand your answer, what do you mean with "take time to load all your images"? Maybe I misunderstood you…

Now I have also switched off each plugin at atime…no difference. Maybe theme? I use 2013
