Is it possible to have a separate search and filter area from the post grid. For example I have a left sidebar and right content area. I want post grid to show on right, but the search & Filter to be in the sidebar.

Hi, it's no matter where you placed the form, just use following filter hook to grab form data and use form field data to query post.
