I can't get my premium version of post grid to load in widget (sidebar) of my wordpress site. It loads when I post the shortcode into a page, but not on the widget. Not sure what to do.

Welcome to our forum.

Please add following code to your theme functions.php file

add_filter('widget_text','do_shortcode');

Let me know the result after adding.

Thanks for your reply, by adding this code any shortcode should work on text widget, can you please check the text widget editor is in "text" mode. please see the screenshot.

I added the code but still the same issue.
