I updatet Post Grid to 2.0.31 just now and it messed up my front page: no margin/padding between posts, shows too long excerpts in some categories and in general has messed up some of the categories, which leads to wrong thins showing on wrong pages. Not a good update in an otherwise (before) good plugin!!!

so continued to fix the bugs by hand. Things are ok now but is it safe to update the plugin in the future?
Now that i finally have half an hour to spare for this i notice that the post grid page id:s on the post script tool AND on the actual page's css dont match. So somewhere in your updates the #-number has changes (for example
previously: #post-grid-315 .element_1
now: #post-grid-241 .element_1
How is this possible? I havent touched those in css for sure before the problems started. And then there's stille the missin padding/margin… I now did some ER for those but am i but frustrated cause should concentrate on other work. Still happy for your help though!
in the latest version, we haven't made any data update except categories data update, all css classes and id should remain same.
i am not sure if you re-create layout editor elements might cause the issue.
