Hello, I'm reporting a major issue. I have the PRO version of the PostGrid plugin. Recently I ran updates on a site which had an available update showing for the basic version of ComboBlocks/PostGrid core plugin. After running the update. the core plugin completely disappeared from the site???
Then it asked me to reinstall the basic version of PostGrid, which I did, but when I activate it, it gave me an error says "you do not have permission to perform this action." Then when I went back, all the core Combo Blocks functions that used to be in the Gutenberg editor disappeared?
Can I reinstall the old plugin somehow? It doesn't seem to be available anymore? Additionally, when I go to a clean installation of a brand new wordpress site and test installation of the basic Post Grid plugin, I get the same error when trying to activate it, and all the of the free and pro sample layouts are broken and not available? Something is very very wrong and this is a huge issue, please help?

Thank you for this explanation, yes I understand. However, this does NOT explain why the old plugin was deleted AUTOMATICALLY after the most recent update? And now I cannot get it back installed so I cannot follow these migration steps because the old plugin is no longer available for download?
Is there a way to re-install the OLD plugin first?
Also the NEW Post Grid plugin is NOT functioning properly, all the layouts are broken and will not import, and I keep getting activation errors? On several sites? This is going terribly….
