Options not saving in back-end

Some of the options appear not to be saving in the back-end although the effects are actioned in the front-end for example. I chaned the 'Slider Pagination at botton' from True to False and in the front end the pagination is gone but when i go back into options it still says True. Similary the same happens for 'Slider navigation at top' setting. I currently only have two sliders and these two settings are opposite on the two sliders and i think the two settings my be affected each other. Also not sure if this is related but if i add a new slider and go to custom css it always gives #wcps-133 the same incorrect number.
