I created a new post grid, then created a new blog page where i pasted the shortcode for the new post grid, and nothing happened.
I want my posts to populate in a grid on the main blog page. Does your plugin create this?

I am not sure what you mean by that?
I created a main page for posts by naming a page "News" and under Settings>Reading, I identified the News Page as my Posts main page.
Should I not do that?
How do I create a main posts page that takes all my posts and puts them into a grid format?
I tried creating a page but NOT naming it as the "Posts" page. And then inserting the shortcode in the box as text. But nothing happened then, either.

I guess, you are trying to using post grid for your post using Post Grid.
