I have share buttons at the top of my front page and every blog post, but they turn into little squares, like place holders, when Post Grid is active. Is there a setting I need to change in order to prevent this?

The social icons disappeared again, now they are back to small squares… was there an update to the theme or something? Will this be the same fix? Thanks.

Worked! I commented out those two lines and got my social sharing icons back. Thanks so much!
