I’m a teacher trying to build a site for my students. I want to restrict access to the site by validating new registrations to go through our school emails.
I’m using the free version of JetFormBuilder because I could use the same plugin to build both the register form and all other forms that will be part of the core of the site. I don’t have to manage tons of fancy settings found in most membership plugins and I could easily use it to create all kind of other forms.
The problem with JetFormBuilder is that I can’t make it work with your email verification plugin. That’s the only “no go” limitation I’ve found so far. I’ve found a youtube solution (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ylx1MWK57oM) to incorporate something that could do some email verification but that solution is not as powerful and elegant compared to yours.
I suspect that my problem is probably just a question of settings somewhere but as I don’t know what goes on behind the scene when your plugin does its magic, I don’t know how to setup the JetFormBuilder register form the right way.
For example, within the register form, I could set the “Post Submit Actions” to “Register User” or "Send email", I could map each form fields to their proper user meta fields but even after having set everything up to the best of my knowledge, the resulting form does not trigger your email verification process.
I guess some of your email verification code should run before and after the register form is filled by the user. If so, do I have to put some shortcodes somewhere in order to trigger what needs to be triggered? If so, what and where? If not, what should I do to make your plugin working with JetFormBuilder the same way it works with other membership plugins?
