We are redoins a website for our client, and trying to import the accordions from the old site to the new layout.

If I download the json file, then upload it to the new site (gallery) and use that link to import the ID's are not the same as the originals.

What would be the correct way to do the import so it will keep the original "[accordions id="xxxx"]" and not reassign them?!

Welcome to our forum.

I understand your issue, but sorry to say it’s not possible right now. due to limitation of WordPress itself.

Not sure how you tried to import, please note there was a bug on default import we have already explained
We have a different solution for this issue, please try "Import via Addon(XMl to JSON)" method
