Featured image doesn't show in grid

I've hacked off both featured image and empty thumbnail, yet in the posts with a featured image it doesn't show. If I hack off first image from content the first image which is not the featured image shows up in posts.

How do I get it to accept featured image?

I am not sure what you meant by "Hacked off both featured image and empty thumbnail,"

Have you checked the option "Media source" under "Layout settings" tab, you can sort the source , so if you want o grab featured image then you have keep "Featured Image" at top and so on. please see the screenshot,

Hi, I have the same problem only that I don;t have a layout settings tab…. Pickplugins please answer, Also asked this question on your wordpress forum
