There is a filter hook available for each element like excerpt, you can customize as you need, please see the example

Thanks for the quick answer.- Is there a way that i can ad the three dots or […] so the excerpt doesn´t end so suddenly?
Also sometimes the excerpt is picking up text from links without punctuation that makes the excerpt confusing. Thanks in advance!
