Hi
I have to post grids one is programmed to only display sample category and the other one only applications category, but for some reason when using the shortcode of each both display application category.
I have checked the category option in each post grid and have check each post grid shortcode, but still this happens

You probably missed to select category terms, please see the screenshot how to choose category terms,
