Displaying custom fields in grid and customising the template

Hi,

I need to display a custom field in teh grid and can't find any documentation on how to actually display the fields once set up. I'm assuuning that it will be done in the meta fields, but there seems to be nothing to explain how to set that up.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would also like to customise the template a little. Is it possibly to copy  the template files somewhere into my theme so that I can customise them without breaking updates to the plugin?
