Hi,

How can I change the date-format from a metakey value in layout editor. Now it is year-month-day and (offcourse)I want it just the other way around!

Date format will follow current format on "General Settings" you choose

Sorry, i thought it was post published date, you didn't tell me that it was meta field value. you can't formating meta value output you expected,

you better create a shortcode that output the meta value expected format and then you can use that shortcode on layout editor via HTML elements,
