Can’t get post grid slider to work properly

There are a number of problems with the post slider. First, the post gets hidden because the height of the wrapper gets set to 1px. I used some extra CSS code to fix this, but then I have a problem with the animation. Despite having at least three posts to shuffle through in the slider, the animation initiates with one move to the left. It then stops and doesn't continue. I can't figure out how to make it go again.
