default auto , and if I choose some article , it will display the article which I choose.
but it is not actually.
am I correct?

Welcome to our forum.
If you have selected manually it will display only from selected posts, otherwise it will display automatically based on categories/terms of current post,
if you see any issue please deactivate others plugin one by one to check if any 3rd party plugin is conflicting.
