Hello - is it possible to add Advanced Custom Fields to the grid layout? I need to find a way to add that in.

Welcome to our forum.
There is meta key field for layout editor in pro version you can use any meta key to display meta field value, Also there is HTML element to display custom html with shortcode so you if you can create your own shortcode to display meta field value. Please see the screenshot
