I downloaded the Post Grid plug-in, and I'm having trouble figuring out where to add the content of the post itself. When I click "Add New" it allows me to add a post-grid, but I don't see anywhere for me to actually input the content of the post itself. I see a bunch of tabs on the left like query post, layouts, etc. etc. but I cannot find where to actually type in the content of the post.

i guess you misunderstand our plugin how it works, you can't insert post content by post grid itself, you will have to create post first via default post, page or custom post types like products.
you can query these post via our plugin post grid and display as you want.
