Hello, I added the user verification plugin to my WordPress site while it had one administrator and one customer user (both me, different email addresses). I manually verified the admin user, and got a "New user confirmed" email as expected. However, I'm never received an email with the subject "Please verify account". When I exceed the number of login attemps without verifying emails, it also locks me out of the admin account. I checked the spam filters. Any suggestions?

Welcome to our forum.

I am not sure if you still have access to admin, if not please go control panel and rename both login attempt and user verification plugin directory. now you should able to login like before.

then activate the user verification plugin. and make your admin account verified manually from user list. so that you are safe to login.
