Instead of redirect to the home page or something else, would it be possible to have the redirect go to the last page the user visited? Is there some PHP I could apply to make this happen? I'm using User Verification with Member Press and it's been working great, but people are complaining about having to navigate back to where they were after they verify.

I just added a filter hook for redirect URL after verification, please try latest version from github
