after we purchased the plugin, it still says trying to migrate.

Welcome to our forum. This is probably cron issue, please provide me a temporary admin access i will check the issue. Or you can follow, #1, install Advanced Cron Manager  plugin #2. go to cron manager menu https://imgur.com/CUoyBd9 #3, search for "wcps_cron_" and then remove crons Hope this will fix. regards
