Product designer options not showing

Hi, I am using the free version of the product designer, and I have activated the plugin, but when I try to edit my products templates or number of sides, the product designer options do not show up on the edit product page. I see product data and short description as usual, but the items sides and templates options do not show up as they do in your tutorial videos. I have reinstalled the plugin and remade the pages, but I cannot seem to unlock these options. Not sure If i missed a step or if these options are not available for free, but the tutorials make it seem that it should be possible.
