Is there a tutorial on adding a date filter to the frontend of a website to filter the posts by date

Sorry for my last answer. I thought you wanted to perform a date query for creating post-grid. So, you're trying to create a filterable grid with date filters. Unfortunately, date filters aren't available on our plugin.
I can see the Filter isn't working on your link because of an error on the console.

This error isn't from our plugin. To make Filterable gird work, you've to fix this JS error.
And also, I can see you're using a search form, but the search functionality will not work with a filterable grid. If you're a developer and want to extend the functionality of our search form, this extension can help you - https://github.com/pickplugins/post-grid-search

Welcome to PickPlugins.
Under Query Post, we have an option called Date parameters. Here you can easily filter by dates.

But this option will be available only if you have got the pro version installed.
