I am currently working on a relaunch. Some time ago, the Accordions were imported from the old site into the new site. Now there has been an update on the old site and the data should be re-imported.

Therefore, the imported data on the new site was all deleted in order to perform a new import. The import works, but there are no accordions.

How can we solve the problem quickly?

Hi,
Due to the primary key restriction, we couldn’t replace the accordion ID with an existing one. Here is a screenshot of the issue – https://i.ibb.co/52ZZt15/image-2024-02-21-T06-47-16-635-Z-1.png

One possible way to keep the same ID is to use WordPress’ default export/import feature. Follow my step-by-step instructions to proceed –

1. Export your Accordions by going to Tools => Export from your WP dashboard. Select the ‘Accordions’ option, and click the ‘Download Export File’ button. Screenshot: https://i.ibb.co/pX1DDPL/default-export.png

2. Go to Tools > Import, then click ‘Run Importer’ to import accordions. See screenshot – https://i.ibb.co/yfJTC4Y/default-import.png
Choose the exported file and click the button to import. Screenshot – https://i.ibb.co/QXCM9ng/select-file-import.png
NB – Please make sure to delete any accordions with identical IDs before importing.

The accordion IDs remain the same in both sites this time. However, some accordion content may be missing during the process. To resolve this issue, we have customized our plugin for you. Please download the updated plugin from this link – https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IZ7MCAYXUaHNxjN7UldtVT80402Z8VxB/
and install and activate it manually on the imported accordion website.

Finally, use our plugin settings to import and export files. Instructions provided in previous comment.

Please let me know if it helps. I am eagerly waiting for your response.

The import has now worked but the Accordion IDS do not match at all! It is a horror. How are existing CPT values supposed to access the correct accordions if all IDs are wrong and therefore all new shortcodes are generated?

Please read the problem correctly. I have already said twice: The import is not the problem!

But the accordions are not displayed! During the first import, the IDs were not transferred correctly, or other IDs were assigned. Which makes absolutely no sense. I then deleted all the accordions and carried out a new import. But this does not work. I assume this is because there are still entries in the database. I can import the import file as often as I like, but the list remains empty.

We urgently need a solution here! This problem is holding up a release!

How should we proceed?

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out about the accordion import!

The previous imports data will be replaced by the latest import because of the same accordion ID.
Now, about your "no accordions" message: I understand it may seem confusing based on the import. Could you please clarify what you're seeing exactly? Are there literally no accordions showing up at all, or are they just not how you expected them to be?

Finally, thanks for sharing the FTP access. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working. Please double-check.

Hello
Thank you for your quick reply. The JSON file can be read in and is being processed. However, when the menu item “Accordions” is opened, the list is still completely empty.

Please take a look: https://ibb.co/CBrfW1f

The access data is not authorized for FTP. They are the WP backend access data.
