I inserted shortcode [related_post] at end of post content and manually selected 4 related pages, but the page is showing 4 different pages. In the Related Posts settings for page display, I enabled manual selection and specified headline text "You may also like:" but the headline isn't showing on the page either.
I recorded a video showing this: https://we.tl/t-fEQGdh7bf1
What am I doing wrong?
Hi Raney,
Thanks so much for sending your video demonstrating the issue! I really appreciate you taking the time to explain it so clearly.
I think your "Query order by" option wasn't set to "post_in". Could you please try selecting that option and see if your related posts function as expected? Screenshot: https://ibb.co/x1r1MRN
Also, if you're using another related post plugin, I recommend temporarily deactivating it to see if that might be causing any conflicts. Sometimes different plugins can interfere with each other's functionality.
Finally, if you're still having trouble after checking these two things, there's a chance it might be a caching issue. Could you try clearing your website's cache or temporarily disabling your caching plugin (if you have one) to see if that resolves the problem?
Please let me know how things go after trying these suggestions, and I'm happy to help further if you need it!
Thank you so much for your review.
