I have been trying to find a way to allow my grid to have a different font size. My blog customization is set at 18 px and this is what my grid is globally functioning at.
I have tick, Layout edit. I see that there is a box next to "title" when I hover over it I see expand or collapse. I have been trying to tick that box but nothing happens. After searching high and low this is the only spot that I can find that may be where I need to be.

Not sure which item you want to change font sizes? if you want to change font size for grid item post title or excerpt etc you will have to go layout editor and there is input field for custom CSS
Please see the screenshot how to do that. please note you need some basic CSS knowledge.

I can see you are using WP rocket plugin, you should clear cache whenever you installed new plugin.
You can clear browser cache or try new browser.
You can also try browser hard refresh to clear browser cache.
