E-mail Links Inside Lightbox Slider Broken

We’re using the Team Showcase plugin to show all of the team members on our client's website. The team members are in a grid and then when you click on a team member’s photo a lightbox opens showing their photo, info, and an e-mail link with slider links on the right and left (and pagination links below) to see the rest of the team members. The e-mail link (currently only in Kris' information) is linked but when clicked doesn't open an e-mail.

Any ideas as to why this is happening and what can be done to fix the problem?
