Clarification on Verification Behavior + Issue With Confirmation Tracking

Hi there,

I’m currently using the User Verification plugin, and I’d like to confirm a few things about its expected behavior and see if there’s a way to improve or implement the following:

1. Login blocked before verification
   Currently, if a user registers but doesn’t verify their email, they are completely blocked from logging in later.
   → Ideally, users should still be able to log in and see a prompt or notice reminding them to verify their email.

2. Resending the verification notice is not working
   Suppose a user tries to log in with an unverified email. In that case, the plugin correctly shows a message prompting them to verify their email, but the resend verification email is never actually sent, even if the alert appears.

3. Email verification across browsers
   If a user clicks the verification link from another browser where they are not logged in, the verification fails to complete.
   → Ideally, clicking the link should verify the email regardless of session state. If not logged in, the user could be redirected to the login page after verification.

4. Issue with stats display
   The dashboard shows that xx email verifications were sent, but the “Verification Confirmed” counter is still at 0, even for accounts that were verified.
   → Could you confirm whether this is a bug or if we need to configure something else?

Let me know if these features are supported, or if there’s a workaround or suggested integration to achieve them.
