Change breadcrumb front text

Hi there, I am using your plugin and really like its simplicity. But it doesn't work like I want it to work and here's why:
- I need to change the "Breadcrumb front text" from a link to a plain text which also implies that the color of the "Breadcrumb front text" is supposed to be different from the Link text color.
- I want to make the first .separator icon disappear but can't make it work.

Can you please help me to do that?
