Hello,

we are using the Breadcrumb plugin in a child theme. There is no header.php file to put the necessery code in order to display the breadcrumb. There is only a loop4.php file. Should we put the code in parent theme? Could you provide us some help and guidance please?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I apologize for the delayed response – I was recently on vacation and catching up on emails has taken longer than expected. I'm happy to help with your breadcrumb dilemma! Unfortunately, after looking into it, I discovered that your current theme doesn't seem to offer built-in support for dynamic breadcrumbs. I couldn't find any filter hooks or action hooks provided by the theme that we could leverage for customization. While hardcoding the breadcrumbs in the main parent theme is technically possible, it's not ideal practice as it can break during future theme updates. Instead, I'd recommend two options - 1. Contact the theme author. 2. Consider switching themes.
