I'm testing out your Team plugin and I cannot find where I can edit the bio excerpt length. My WordPress is version 4.7.3.
Also, is the popup display on the pro version only?

you might miss the option under "Layout Builder"

Yes, popup profile and popup slider only available in premium version.
