Slider only appearing on designated “shop page”

When I try to post the shortcode on any page or post other than the designated "shop page," the slider will not appear.  The problem is that the shop page already displays my current products at the bottom, so now the products are displayed twice.  Does anyone know why the slider won't show up anywhere else?
