Currently the post grid shows a snippet of text with the "read more" link under the image - how can you set it to not show the snippet of text and instead show a list of links

I am not sure i understand your issue clearly, but there is a feature we called it layout editor so you can edit layout items, you can remove/add any items,

Is there any way that I can try this prior to purchasing the premium version, as i will need to offer proof of concept -to my organization to see if this will fit our needs. Additionally I am working on a staging server currently- so if we add the license to that staging server, can i presume that I will be able to move my license to the production server when ready?
Also, $29 is a bit pricey for just being able to add some links under an image. We are also a WordPress plugin provider, perhaps you could offer a discount link for a fellow WordPress plugin provider?
Hi, i am not sure you understand filter hook, the screenshot you sent can made via post grid,
In pro version you can display meta value on post grid via layout editor and custom HTML via shortcode on layout editor

the filter hooks i mentioned also available in free version you can try with it.
For pro version we don't have demo server for testing, you buy and try to use, if this is not work for you will send refund.
