I've just installed your plugin and was wondering how to show related posts by category. I didn't see this option in the query field.

Welcome to our forum.
Our related post plugin is already set to query from the current post category & terms(for custom post types)
it will look at current post categories and get the post ids on current post categories, If no categories are found it will query by default.
