On clicking the "save" when setting configuration choices are made, it ends up at "Internal Server Error". No settings can be saved.

Hi, could you please confirm if you're referring to our User Verification plugin? On my end, I'm not experiencing this issue.
Please provide the version number of your WordPress and our 'user verification' plugin.
