My post grid is only able to arrange my post in one column. I will like to make it into a 3 by 3 format, how do I go about doing that?

I am not sure what you mean by 3 by 3 format, is that 3 column in each row?
you can set % value for item width value, like 30% will give you 3 column in a row.
