Not seeing user email confirmation message on registration

I am using your product through Memberpress. There is  no confirmation message to the user that a verifcation email has been sent, and there is no message sent.

If I try to log in, I get an alert that the email has not been verified, and a  prompt to resend it. When I click on that I see a modal that tells me a verication email was sent, and the email appears in the inbox.

Can you advise?
