I am using Accordion on multiple locations in my web site. I intend to use Accordions with a standard behavior and colors. At the moment I have the impression that you have to make all settings for a new accordion anew, a new accordion has fixed default settings. Is it possible to:

  • Copy Accordions, rename them and add other content only while all other settngs remain as is?, or
  • Is it possible to edit the default settings of the Accordion to meet my settings?

😉 Would save me a lot of work!

Welcome to our forum.

#1. please use following plugin to copy/duplicate accordions

https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/

You can also export to use another site by default Export/Import Menu. Please make sure your content doesn't contain empty line may cause import not work.

#2. haven't you tired to change the value on Style tab ?

you can also use custom CSS via "Custom CSS" tab

Hello Mr. Administrator!

Good hint! I installed the plugin, works as a charm. The Accordion settings are copied too, so meddling with the default setting is not necessary.

Thank you!

Best regards,

Mark
