Exclude by Id not working on Recent Posts

Hi, I am using the Post Grid plugin and am trying to exclude a certain Post. Inside the Post Grid's Query Post tab, I put the post's ID in the "Exclude by post ID" section and while it is excluding it from the main listing, it is still showing up in the "Recent Posts" section.

Is there a way to exclude a post from both the main listing and the Recent Posts section?
