Do not auto login after registration

Installed User Verification.

I think it was properly set up.  the first few test registrations seemed to work ok.

now something is wrong.'

1. Will the verification process work regardless of type of payment user selects?  (I created a Pay by check, so I didn't have to add a credit card number every time to test.  Credit card is also a selection)
2. No user verification emails are being sent.
3. All current users are asked to verify account before they can sign in now.  This is unacceptable, so I deactivated the plugin.

What can I do to fix?
