Hi,

I'd like to display my categories rather than my posts in the post grid ,is that possible? I see I can choose from different types like pages, navigation menu items etc in 'post types', is there any way I can do this for my categories as well?

have you checked layout editor? you can add categories to layout editor to display post categories on post grid.
