adding an accordian to any page breaks our social media icons

for some reason the social media icons added by our theme break on any page there is an accordion on. deleting the accordion seems to be the only way to fix it. I have tried every option I can think of in the accordions plugin. switching to tabs does fix things but makes the content unusable.
